Reserves hit Hullbridge for six

A brace from Ross & Collins get the reserves off to a good start to the season.

Tilbury started the Essex Senior League Reserve division season in fine style with a thumping victory over Hullbridge Sports on Saturday.
Tilbury took the lead after only 2 minutes when Bradley Ross scored a good goal. Tilbury were 2 up on 14 when Daryl McNamara scored and before half time Ross was again on the scoresheet. Tilbury started the second half strongly and went further in front on 59 when Joe Collins who was starting his first game of the season fired home. It was 5 on 67 when Collins again scored. The final goal of the game came on 74 when Tilbury were awarded a penalty, that was deposited by Aaron Waters calmly.

After the game manager Mick Jacobs commented "After not a very good pre season, the boys did everything we asked of them to do today and dominated the whole game from start to finish"
