Romford F.C. 0 – 3 Tilbury F.C.
Cook (3)
Turner (O.G 40)
Good (85)

Tilbury started the game well and has Romford on the back foot early on. It took three minutes for Tilbury to take the lead as Brad Barnes delivered the ball back to Harry Cook who swept the ball home. Tilbury had further chances to finish off Romford early on, with Rafis keeping out Cook four times and Mustafa hitting the post. However, the best chance fell to Clayton who pulled a superb save off Tilburys’ goalkeeper James Marrable. Just as the half time whistle was looming, Harry Cook drove a low cross for Jack West only to see former Tilbury captain Ben Turner slice the ball into his own goal. In the second half, Romford pushed on to force a way back into the game, however the Docker’s were still looking good going forward and had chances through Cook, West and Bradbury. Marrable was playing well to hold on to his clean sheet bonus as he pushed Mackin and Smith’s strikes away. Kurt Smith was unlucky not to get a goal back for Romford as his half volley came back off the post and to safety from 20 yards out. Just as Romford began to get confident, they found a set back as right back Barry was sent off for his second yellow with fifth teen minutes to go. As Tilbury looked to run the game down Cook won a corner which was taken by Ben Bradbury as he found Steve Good who flicked the ball past Rafis to make it three goals and three points for the Dockers’.
