Soham Town Rangers 3 Tilbury 0 (Attendance 75)

Three late goals gave Soham a flattering 3-0 win over the Dockers and extended Tilbury's losing run.

The Dockers gave a first start to reserve defender Elliott Johnson, who did well in a yet again changed back four.
The first half was not a thriller and both sides had chances. Sam Cutler shot from 20 yards on 25 minutes that saw the bar rattled. Ramos was also kept busy by efforts from Sharman and Darling. Before the break, slopping defending saw Harradine go close
The start of the second continued in the same manner as the first with both sides equalling each other out, with chances remaining limited, although the Dockers were again denied by the woodwork on 61 with Francis hitting the post from a Babalola lay off. Soham took the lead on 75 when Davis delivered a deep ball into the area from wide on the right, with Ben Sawyer out jumping the Johnson to loop a header over Ramos in to the net.

Things got worse for the Dockers with 6 minutes remaining when Sam Cutler was dismissed after only receiving a yellow card 2 minutes earlier for speaking to the referee. Soham pushed hard and Ramos had to make a great save after an excellent run by substitute Sawyer.
However two Stanley goals in injury time meant the final score looked more comfortable than it actually was. The striker scored his first in the 2nd minute of injury time when he received a long Harradine ball outside the area, knocking it past the advancing Ramos into an empty net, despite video evidence showing the player was offside when the ball was played. Stanley scored his second of the game a minute later when a ball forward found Stanley who attempted to kick forward and ended up looping over Ramos into an empty net.

The defeat see's Tilbury remain in 13th and on Saturday travel to Romford.
