Tilbury 1 Ware 3 (Att 55)

Tilbury suffered their first home league defeat of the season with another disappointing performance, that also gave Ware their first 3 points on the road.

Tilbury made a single change from Saturday, with Jamie Age starting in place of Dwade James upfront.

Tilbury stated well and were on top of the game, with Simon Peddie's header saved by the keeper. On 18 a good run Aromolaran saw Neil Richmond hit a shot at goal, with Forster saving the weak effort.
On 22 Gareth Price saw his effort well saved by Butcher in the Tilbury goal, as Ware took the game to Tilbury. On 35 the visitors took the lead when A Jack Mace cross was met by Brian Haule who headed into the corner of the net.

Minutes later Ware attacked and struck the bar only for Delgado's follow up to roll along the line and away to safety. Three minutes before the break it was 2-0 when Gareth Price rifled home.

Butcher was in action again in the second half saving well from Goss and denying McLeod. Ware again went close on 72 when Anton Goss saw his effort saved during a goalmouth scramble.

Ware confirmed the points with 2 minutes remaining when a long clearance from keeper Forster caused problems for the home defence and Price lobbed Butcher to score.

In the final seconds Kurt Smith was the man to deny Ware a clean sheet with his penalty kick after Marcus Rose handled in the box.

The result sees Tilbury drop to 10th. Tilbury travel in to Norfolk on Saturday when they play Norwich United.
