Tilbury Under 18's made smooth progress in the Pelly Cup with a comprehensive 9-0 victory on a heavy pitch at Debden Sports. The hero was Lewis Grantham who scored 4 times.
Both sides struggled early on to cope with the difficult conditions, but the Dockers scored inside 10 minutes through Ishmael Saidy. Tilbury then scored 5 times in less than 10 minutes to kill the game off. Grantham scored, before Charlie Spalding smashed home. A minute later a Debden defender put through his own net before a minute later Josua Ihunde scored. Grantham scored two penalties either side of half time to secure his hat-trick. Lewis Jaggs fired home unchallenged in the 75th minute, before Granham scored his 4th of the morning in the 84th minute to score the 9th. Tilbury now travel to Aveley in the Quarter Finals.

The Under 15's progressed away to Great Wakering Rovers in a thrilling 6-4 victory. The young Dockers came behind 3 times. The goals were scored by Tbo, Spooner x 2, Hornsby, Havis and McQueen. The draw for the quarter finals is this coming Wednesday.
