Local Development Officers
The Local Development Officers [LDOs] for the 2011/12 season are:
Maddie Schuck – Lives in Maryland and is 23 years old, graduated in Biomedical Science in 2010. Maddie is a returning LDO from last season - she is staying for another year and is also hoping to study for an MSc in Immunology and Immunogenetics at Manchester University.
Pat Acone - Lives in New Hampshire and is 22 years old, graduated with a BA in Business in May 2011. His two consistent passions in life are avionics (Pat wants to train as an airline pilot) and sports. Pat has played top level ice hockey and lacrosse and is a specialist goalkeeper. He has done a good deal of travelling and has visited many places including Australia, France, South Korea and Britain. Pat's sister Erin previously worked as an LDO and currently works for English Lacrosse at the Belle Vue Head Office.
Dan DeFrancesco - Lives in New York and is 22 years old, graduated with a BSc in Newspaper Print Journalism in May 2011. Dan plays in defence and is excited about playing in the Timperley team whilst also sharing his passion and experience of lacrosse with those he will be coaching. He was the driving force behind the setting up of a summer lacrosse league which has flourished since it's beginnings in 2008 and continues to this day. Dan has enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, wrestling, soccer and is an avid snowboarder. Over the past 6 years he has also been very involved in weight lifting.
