TOUR 2013 - USA - Team News

Tour 2013 - initial committee meeting

Outlined the key next steps to initiate the organisation of the outbound 2013 Maryland USA Tour

Outcomes:
Dates: 25 July to 4 4 August 2013 tbc
Open to boys & girls years 9,10&11
Aim to sign up Approx 40 kids + 8 adults / coaches tbc
1. Tour Leader - Martin Cragg
2. Treasury - Lynsey & Mark Walker (£290 balance in tour account to roll forward to 2013)
3. Chief Fundraiser - Jane Ford
4. Kit Organiser - Liz & David Loveland (rucksack/t shirt / training Pinneys)
5. Gifts - Jane & Liz (sports towel / £300 + stock of Lanyards & wrist bands)
6. Website Tour News - David
7. Adult Chaperones - Jill & Graham Blower tbc
8. Tour assistant Tour Leader & admin - Stephanie Hallows - tbc
9. Flights Tickets & insurance - Craggie to enquire at Northenden Travel
9. Coaches - Craggie to finalise younger coaches from names submitted
10. Registration Day - publicity & stall manning - (10am PP / 11am LW / 12 DL)
11. To follow - pairings for hosting / estas & passports / costs in USA (drinks / away day buses / out of pocket expenses)

Approx total target to raise = £6000
Any further funds raised (we have raised £7000 to £8000 each year last 2 years) will be used to reduce the parental costs with regard to the flight costs (could be approx £800 per child)
