Sarah Baron nominated at Trafford Sports Awards
Sarah Baron nominated in the "Volunteer" category at the annual Trafford Sports Awards
The annual sports awards ceremony for Trafford was held on Thursday 15th September in "The Point" conference facility at Lancashire Cricket Club. Di Gill had nominated Sarah Baron in the "Volunteer" category, with contributions from Maddie Schuck, David Shuttleworth and Alan Holdsworth. Di and Sarah went along to the event supported by lots of family including fellow lacrosse players John, David, Lizy Gill. 14 people had been nominated in this category and although Sarah left empty handed they had all enjoyed a very happy evening, and on the day when the Lancashire Cricket team won the County Championship title for the first time in 77 years!
