Hi all,
Xtra Mile Events have the Macclesfield Triathlon coming up on the 12th August. I have been unfortunately let down by a group that were going to help with the run section of the triathlon.
I am looking for a group of 12 to help out as marshals on the run course. I thought it would be a good idea to see if TLC could provide the marshals. If we can provide the 12 marshals the club will receive £240 which could be used towards the cost of lacrosse balls for 2012/2013 season.
Considering that a ridiculous number of balls went missing last season, this donation could help cover the cost without the club having to set aside more money for balls.
The time requirement will from 08:00-12:00 and anyone who helps out will be based on the run course, which is based in and around Macclesfield Leisure Centre. The role is very simple and involves helping to guide the participants around the run course. Anyone who helps out will receive a lunch on the day.
Children under 16 can come and marshal as long as they are placed with an adult.
