I have been asked to pass on Chris Myatt's thanks for all the messages and best wishes she has recieved since retireing as treasurer.
Now he has overseen his last match everyone at Tipton Town would like to thank Keith for all the hard work he has put in over the past few years at Tipton, to label him as just the secretary would be an insult to all the different tasks he carries out day to day and the many hours he has devoted to making sure we have such a well-run and well prepared football club. He will be sorely missed and we wish all the best with whatever he has planned for the future.
It is with regret that Tipton Town have accepted Ian Longs resignation this evening after our excellent win at home versus Heath Hayes. Ian has managed the first team with distinction this season against adverse weather conditions and half his coaching staff leaving throughout the season. Ian has led the team to sixth in the league and a semi-final of the league cup. Ians statement reads " I have enjoyed my 3 years at the club and the challenges we have faced together". With the off field changes in the committee Ian feels that the time has come for a fresh challenge. Ian would like to thank everyone at the club who has contributed to the seasons he has been with Tipton and would like to wish Tipton Town the best in the future.
