The Angels were comfortable 3-0 winners at VCD Athletic who must be thoroughly sick of the sight of the team in blue, this being the third time this season the result had gone Tonbridge's way.  Once Dee Okijie had put the away side in front in the 11th minute there seemed relatively little doubt of the outcome.  Further strikes from Alex Teniola and Flavio Tavares merely emphasised the Angels dominance.  Afterwards Assistant Manager, Barry Moore said: "The boys were very professional today, shape was good, structure was good and they stuck to the plan we gave them."  Ironically the win made no difference to the Angels current position of 18th due to teams immediately above them all getting something from their matches, but it did put in some distance from the drop zone.

Both the leaders Margate and Maidstone lost away matches 2-0 at Hampton & Richmond Borough and Metropolitan Police respectively while Hendon in third place made up some ground  with a 3-1 win at basement club Bury Town.  Fourth place Leiston also kept up the pressure with a home win over Wingate & Finchley 2-0 while fifth place Dulwich Hamlet were away winners at Harrow Borough 3-1. There were home wins for Bognor Regis Town 2-1 against Canvey Island and Grays Athletic 2-0 over Billericay.  Away win specialists Leatherhead were at it again beating Peacehaven & Telscombe 5-2, while Enfield Town were 1-0 winners at inconsistent Kingstonian.  The Essex derby between AFC Hornchurch and East Thurrock United finished 1-1 while two late goals at the Dripping Pan gave Lewes a welcome point against Witham Town
