History - About us
Tonbridge Junior Football Club was the first club in the local area to be presented with the FA Charter Standard Community Club Award – the highest level achievable under the FA Charter Standard scheme.
We now display the "Three Lions" on our letterheading with pride.
We are one of the founding Clubs of the Mini-Alliance and, apart from having one of the largest representations in the League, are by far the largest provider of Mini Soccer in the Tonbridge area.
We actively support the need for quality training in football skills and expect all our Managers to gain the FA Level 1 Coaching certificate, which includes emergency first aid and child protection training.
The Football Association, based on medical advice, banned 11-a-side football in the younger age-groups a number of years ago, so we are very well placed to provide quality football for younger players based upon the current F.A. Laws of Mini Soccer.
