Ground-share with Raynes Park Vale unveiled as promotion to Step 6 is confirmed by the FA

Today we received confirmation from the FA that we will ply our trade at Step 6 next season for the first time in our history.

Since our formation in 2004 the Bec quickly climbed through the junior leagues and were promoted to the Surrey Elite league in 2010 after securing the SSEC League & Shield double.

After a few tough seasons we established ourselves in the Surrey Elite league before going close to winning it last season only to lose out on the last day to Virginia Water. Thankfully we followed that up by winning the league by 5 points this season and the chance of promotion.

The last few years has seen us ground-share with our friends at Tooting & Mitcham FC mainly utilising their 3G pitch. This allowed us to apply for promotion but once it was clear Dulwich Hamlet were moving in we no longer had the option of using the main pitch next season.

The FA and Combined Counties took this unique situation into account in allowing us to set-up a ground-share with Raynes Park Vale FC whom we shared with back in 2010 when promoted to Step 7. We are pleased to say that was put in place quickly with the help of Paul, Dom & Gav at RPV and we can look forward to joining the CCL and testing ourselves against some new opposition.

Our partnership with T&M will continue to grow as we will still use it as a base for training and our other sides. We are also working with T&M to get grading on the 3G in the near future.

News on Management, Pre-season schedule and all our sides will follow in the next few days.
