The club are happy to announce that John O'Connor has been appointed new 1st team manager and his first task was to promote Helder Riberio to his assistant and 1st team coach after a 2 year spell as reserve team manager.

John joined the club midway through last season as assistant to previous incumbent Frank lopez and soon led the side to an impressive away victory against AFC Cubo in Franks absence.

John has a reputation as a winner from his time in Ireland but you won't hear him mention it with his modest persona.

John's next task is to run the rule over the new faces when the open trials kick off pre-season on July 4th.

Alongside him will be the man who brought silverware back to the club last season when lifting the Spring Cup for the reserves. Helder has also been a catalyst in promoting players through the ranks and into the 1st team frame so will be a familiar face to many of the 1st team squad already.

The consistency the management team brings means we will start the season on the front front for the 1st time in our 6 years in the Elite league. This is further evident with the confirmation that Joe Haynes will be starting a second term as 1st team skipper.
