Matthews who joined the club in the 2012-13 season established himself as a first team player playing either in the middle of the park or filling in at centre back. A keen tackler and header of the ball, Matthews went on to make 30 appearances and scoring 3 goals.

This season saw Matthews start the season at Chessington & Hook and with playing time restricted he made the move back the Bec. This season has seen him make 12 appearances and scoring 2 goals and helping the Bec to 2nd in the league.

Matthews will be granted his transfer once all fees are paid. We wish him well for the future.
