With Cheltenham the topic of conversation for many this week, I thought this would be the opportune moment to invite you all to the first inaugral Tooting Bec Race Night!

A program has been put together (email garethb2211@gmail.com) which outlines how the night runs, the betting options, and of course the horses running!

Location: Kings Head, Tooting Bec, SW17 7PB

Date: Saturday, March 28th

Time: 7pm start

For those of you who cannot make it on the night, but enjoy a flutter now and again, you are able to “Purchase a Horse” in advance of the race. The cost to do this is £5 and in return, if your horse wins you are guaranteed to win £20, in addition to your original stake.

2.) Tour: Newcastle!!

Although there were some convincing arguments from Chris Thurban and Max Sytzber, we are going with the majority and off to Newcastle. We are going a little later than originally planned, partly due to availability and also down to the fact that it will still be relatively chilly in May up North!

Date: June 12th-14th

Cost: £50 for two nights stay

Travel: Train on the Friday afternoon - returning Sunday. Approx cost, also £50
