Work for England Hockey

4 weeks ago By Club Secretary

Does one of your New Year’s resolutions involve testing yourself and pushing your boundaries? Ever fancied working in hockey?

With a whole host of exciting events happening on our shores in 2018 – including the 2018 Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup – England Hockey is looking to expand its team and has an array of roles available for you to choose from.

The first is for people who our passionate about growing the game in their local area. With the launch of the new England Hockey Championships and Summer Champs we are looking for four Area Championships Coordinators who will embed and grow these new competitions in their designated areas.

While hockey participation has grown fantastically in recent years – with 80% more U16s playing than this time six years ago –we believe there are still plenty more people we can reach out to and we want your help to achieve that. As an Area Championship Coordinator you will have the opportunity to reach out to clubs and schools to attract new people to the game and promote the all-inclusive and fun EH Champs and Summer Champs.

If developing relationships and evolving brands is more your thing then we have two exciting jobs in our Sales and Marketing team. At England Hockey we endeavour to put our customers first and this will be a key undertaking for our new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Insight Manager and Officer.

The roles will involve tailoring the marketing campaigns for our many major events next year so our fans feel informed, engaged and want to come and watch the fantastic hockey that will undoubtedly be on show across the year. If you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, passionate for sport and understand the desires of customers then we would love to hear from you.

And finally we also have a brilliant opportunity to kick-start our newly established Hockey Futures Charity. We want to create a nation where hockey is accessible to all and you could be at the forefront of this as our Hockey Futures Project Manager.

You will have the opportunity to help shape this brand new project and develop its brand, take it into schools and help organise profile raising events. If you believe that hockey is a game for everyone and want to make that clear then this may just be the perfect role for you.
