Towcestrians Rugby Football Club

Towcestrians RFC was established in 1933. We are one of the longest established rugby club in South Northamptonshire and one of the most successful Junior Rugby clubs in the East Midlands.The only club in the East Midlands to win the Lewis Shield in consecutive years.

Towcestrians is affiliated to the RFU, the East Midlands Rugby Union and The Northampton Rugby Alliance. The club has a proud record of achievements with many former players having played for Northampton Saints and achieved England honours.

Our 1st XV will be playing in the Midlands Leagues and is one of four seniors sides; we also have an Academy Under 18's XV and in the current season around 350 Minis and Juniors players from the age of 7 years to Under 17's registered to play their rugby at Towcestrians RFC.
We have a budding Ladies 1st XV with 3 age group levels for young ladies.

The club has an established reputation of having a warm friendly and welcoming family atmosphere and provides excellent facilities for its members including: 4 Pitches, recently remodelled Clubhouse and Bar, Changing Rooms, Showers, New Gymnasium - and is always ready to welcome new players with all levels of playing ability.
