Geoff Smith, Club Freeman has sadly deceased after a short illness. The Club passes our deepest condolences and sympathies to his wife children and family.

The Club was represented in strength as an important part of the Clubs history moved on to a higher plain. A number of players past and present gathered to say farewell and Geoff was carried into the service by 6 Club Members.

Geoff's wife Beryl and daughter Kay thanked the Club for it's support and kind words and attendance at the funeral.

The Club thank the Smith family for inviting us to be part of Geoff's life at these final moments.

There is always a welcome at Trafford MV for members of Geoff's family whenever they wish to call and visit.
