Plenty of Rugby this weekend at Trafford MV with the 1st XV away at Aldwinians in a crunch match for both teams

The 1st XV have a massive game on Saturday as we meet old rivals Aldwinians at Audenshaw Park. MV currently sit just 1 point on front of the hosts however with a 5 point penalty deduction looming this result is even more crucial for MV. It's a bit of a knock to developing a youth feeder system when you get hit like this ! The weather forecast is good however and a competitive game is on the cards. Only a short hop away we would hope to see some MV support on the touchline.

The 2nds are hosting Ormskirk and will be looking for some reward to try and nudge themselves away from the foot of the table against their 5th placed opponents. New Year - New Start, lets get the training kit out lads and start to put some performances together!

Winnington Park in Cheshire is the destination for the 3rd XV with the ambition once again to climb away from the basement position. We need more players available on a regular basis - in fact more players full stop !!!!! Get recruiting lads - there are players out there we just need to find them.

On Sunday - possibly the game of the weekend will be the visit of Sale FC to compete against Trafford MV Senior Colts XV. Our lads have been punching above their weight both this season and last and have been rewarded with 2 trophies last season and fantastic performances in the ''A'' Division against some top class clubs. Sale will be bringing plenty of support and we would encourage all MV members to get down and give the Colts - the future MV 1st XV - your backing. Good Luck lads !

Prior to the Colts game on Sunday we have .........

Apologies Stu, apologies under 10s kitchen helpers, it's a packed TMV this Sunday with minis, juniors and colts all in action.

The minis host Eccles, no game for the U7s, but from 8-12s it's hoops v hoops.

Good to see Andy Wood's U12s back in action, it's been a tough season so far but new faces have given them a lift.

The U11s look to get back to winning ways following the visit of a well prepared Rochdale last Sunday.

Sedgley Park are the juniors opposition, with U14 and U15s matches on the first team and training pitches. These are often high scoring matches, so worth a watch.

At 2pm the Colts take on Sale, if you can stick around please do, this will be a fierce encounter.

Don't forget, Ladies Day on 10th, Club Christmas Party on 17th Dec - tickets now available. If you can't see any contact Wilf Dooley on 01942 884542

See you Sunday.
