History

Trentham RUFC was established in 1948 and is based in New Inn Lane in Trentham. The club plays in Cheshire/South Lancashire Cheshire Division. We currently regularly run 2 senior sides, managing 3 on the odd occasion. We also have a mini & junior section with a particular focus on U7 to U11s. We have two full sized rugby pitches with one floolit to match standard. In addition we have a mini/Junior pitch which doubles as a training area. Our licensed clubhouse overlooks the first team pitch and is open 7 days a week to members and guests with a function room available for hire for Birthdays, Parties, etc.

Trentham is renowned for its hospitality and everyone is warmly welcomed into the fold. So whether you want to play competitive rugby, just want the odd run out, or just want to socialise and watch the game, whatever your age, Trentham is the place for you.
