TringRugby Academy - where the going gets tough - and the tough get going!

Academy training takes place at the club on Thursdays at 1745hrs/1930hrs. Players over 17 years of age, who have reached an approved standard, can train with the senior squad on Tuesdays 1930hrs/2100hrs. The Academy not only has a structured coaching set up, but in support of that has a management structure that looks after the administration, arranges social events and the famous “Tring Academy Annual Rugby Tour”

We have over 45 Players across the two academy age groups. We run Colts Development (U17's) and Colts teams that play in the Hert's/Middx Leagues and national cup competitions and aim to develop players from junior rugby level to go on to play in the senior teams.

New players wanting to try rugby, players returning to rugby, or existing players who have moved into the area are always welcome.

We would like to remind existing club members that they must register with the club before our first competitive match of the season. Those not registered are not available for selection due to lack of insurance. Registrations can be made online here or by contacting our Membership Secretary.
