Fellow Rangers,
What a season!!
We've been in the highest league position in the clubs history, won the
Herts Cup, got rid of Shottsy to a completely different continent, got a
load of fresh faced youngsters ready to be the next generation of Trings
finest and are still week in, week out, punching well above our weight for a small town in the National Leagues (with a bit of help from a few kiwi chaps)
With one of our best ever seasons now behind us and only a few weeks until pre-season (probably), it feels only right we should celebrate in true Ranger fashion. So next Friday the 11th May will see us recognise, reward and most likely ridicule everyone involved in this season at our annual Players Dinner!
Details are as follows:
Date: Friday 11th May
Time: 7pm - to late
Cost: £15
Food: Choice of Fish & Chips, Steak & Kidney Pie & Chips, Chicken & Mushroom
Pie & Chips, Chicken & Chips.
Please confirm your attendance with the following people:
1st, 2nd Team, Club coaches & Physio's with Jonny Morgan
here
3rd, 4th Team players & Vp's with John Ball
here
Academy players with Gunny

Dress: Club shirt and tie
Entertainment: Karaoke, and our very own compere for the evening Tom 'I used to be somebody' Warren!
PLUS - the one you've been waiting for, the real reason anyone really wanted to score a try this season - The infamous Naked Mile!
I could apologise for the late notice on this gents but I won't, we're a
victim of our own success and unfortunately the original date was the same weekend as the Herts Cup Final. So please do everything you can to attend next Friday and make sure we celebrate this season in the way it deserves.
Finally,
Sunday 13th May the club is hosting its annual mini and junior awards, now these guys are the future of the club and a lot of them come down and support us on a Saturday, volunteer on match days and generally help make our club amazing. How many of us hand on heart can say we've done anything to help them this year? Well now is our chance.
On Sunday 13th May we will be hosting an inter-club touch rugby tournament, where young players will get the chance to play in the same touch team as the senior guys and we'll also have parents and coaches involved as well. It will be a fantastic way to round off the season, say thanks to the mini and junior guys, encourage them to carry on with their rugby and all we have to do is play a bit of touch, not a lot to ask guys! So get a few mates together and get down on the Sunday morning to play at 10 am. If wives/girlfriend want to play as well they're more than welcome, so bring everyone along.
Apologies for the long e-mail, hopefully you can make both events that
weekend, let's make sure we finish with a bit of a bang and get as many
people down to the club as possible.
Thanks Mason & Claps
