As part of our One Club initiative teams from the M and J section have been providing extra support for the 1st XV at their home games.

8 future TringRugby stars from the Under 8s formed a Guard of Honour for Tring v Tonbridge Juddian on Saturday.

Miles Mentiply-Johnson, Charlie Garlick, Ollie Cadge, Ollie Hemlin, Ben Kearney, Sean Jarret, Lewis Fryer and Ben Perkin from the U8 squad ushered the players on and off the pitch and provided a dazzling display of half-time tag, much to the delight of the crowd.

In return the 1st XV players will be making a few visits to Cow Lane at Sunday morning training sessions in the coming weeks to pass on some tips to the youngsters.

M&J Vice Chairman Mike Kearney said: "The first team has a number of players who have made their way through the mini and junior system, and who are now themselves an inspiration to the youngsters. Few clubs can boast this kind of continuity, and it helps make TringRugby a true family club".
