Wednesday 28 March at Raeburn Place, ko 5.30

On 28 March at Raeburn Place BATs U18 will play the Edinburgh Academy 1XV – winners of The Brewin Dolphin Scottish School’s Cup 2012, leading school team in Scotland and top of the 1XV British schools Performance League this year.

The BATs team will be made up from the wide north Edinburgh community and will be the best side we can get on the night from young people from Broughton High School, Trinity Academy, Drummond and Craigroyston Community High Schools, Fettes and from the regular BATs Under 18s.

This is the fourth time BATs U18 have played the Academy XV for the Ed Saunders’ Cup. Bats have won it once and the Academy, the current holders, twice. The game as an important step in the development of both teams’ players and as an introduction to our wider community – though some of the Academy players will have played for BATs and Accies Minis when younger.

Please come and support the future and se a very good Academy team playing the best BATs can put out.

We are using the game against The Academy to raise funds for BATs and will have an admission charge of £5 for adult (over 18). Please put the date, Wednesday 28 March, in your diary now.

I do hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you at Raeburn Place - the bar opens at 5.00 – and the kick off is at 5.30.

The future’s good …….. with your support!

RUGBY FOR ALL – in the North Edinburgh Community
