THE CLUB HAS NOW BEEN AWARDED THE PRESTIGIOUS RFU SEAL OF APPROVAL REFLECTING THE CONSIDERABLE PROGRESS MADE IN RECENT SEASONS IN ESTABLISHING TROWBRIDGE RFC AS A MAJOR FORCE IN JUNIOR RUGBY THROUGHOUT THE AREA.
In so doing, it provides a structured plan for the development of junior rugby for children (both boys and girls) under the age of 18. This recognition is due reward for a lot of hard work put in by volunteers at the Club, associated with delivering high-standard qualified coaching, and developing policies covering club management, sport equity and ethice, health & safety, child protection and healthy eating.
It firmly establishes the Club as having a safe and healthy environment for the youngsters of Trowbridge to enjoy and develop their rugby skills and ambitions. Furthermore, it reflects the strong family ethos that exists at the Club, which now provides a firm foundation for the Club's long-term future.
