Trowbridge RFC MINIs are looking to encourage the number of children playing rugby locally and are offering free, fun training sessions for boys and girls throughout the summer holidays for children in School Years 1 through to 6 (From September 2018). All sessions are led by RFU qualified coaches, who are DBS checked and cleared.

The ‘Summer Fun’ sessions start on Sunday 22nd July and run through to Sunday 26th August, starting at 10:00 and will last about 1 hour. All sessions are free and open to non-members. The sessions are fun, but informative and encourage children to have a life-long love of the game, whilst teaching them the core skills, such as evasion, spatial awareness, passing and communication. All sessions are non-contact.

Children will need to arrive for the sessions with trainers or football/rugby boots depending on the weather and shorts/t-shirts. A bottle of water is strongly recommended, especially if it’s hot! Parents are welcome to stay and watch their children play and enjoy the facilities.
