Truro had made a couple tactical changes following two disappointing results. Including a call up for Ricky Searle
to show his worth at right back. Truro started brightly with some assured build up play through defense and midfield with defenders Alex Money, James Dunstan and Lewis Sanders
linking up well, the inclusion of Ricky Searle
at right back offered Truro a good outlet with close skills and good vision displayed by the right back on his debut for the 1st team. Lewis Sanders
and James Dunstan were dominating in defense for Truro soaking up the little pressure Swansea asserted, this allowed Callum Westerway and Paul Scullion
to find space in the midfield and build attacks, Truro’s dominance showed when a good bit of skill from Jamie Clark opened an opportunity and his shot deflected of a Swansea defender and into Samuel Dunstan but was disallowed for body contact.
Truro continued to pile on the pressure and were rewarded when they scored an open from Samuel Dunstan dribbling through the area and slotted home calmly, Truro in control of the game doubled their advantage when Jamie Clark found some space and calmly slotted home from the top of the D. Completely in control of the game Henry Lewis
was causing havoc down the left turning the Swansea right back inside out with good skill and unrivalled pace he won a short corner which James Dunstan stepped up to clinically finish into the top corner with a perfectly executed drag flick leaving the Swansea keeper with no chance. 3-0 half time score
After half time Truro were caught napping when Swansea scored a quick fire double. But Truro managed to gain control of the game from unselfish constant running from Josh Pearce and Callum Westerway breaking up play and stopping Swansea from threatening. Truro managed to create a few changes and through ex Swansea university player Callum Westerway they regained a two goal advantage with a cool finish from twelve yards committing former Swansea goalkeeper teammate to the ground and cheekily finishing with a lob. Truro back in control scored two more through top goal scorer Samuel Dunstan firstly James Dunstan with a 50 yard cutting pass was collected skillfully on top of the D by Samuel Dunstan and one touch took him around the oncoming keeper and finished firmly into the goal the sixth and final goal to complete Samuel Dunstan’s hat trick game through some trademark wing play from Henry Lewis
