An excellent game against Worthing saw the TWHC Vets go one down against the run of play in the first half. Early in the second half, the vets got back on level terms with a well-struck penalty corner. They continued to dominate and push for the winner but just couldn't find the final touch to a number of very promising opportunities.
Pently strokes ensued to decide a winner and after the scores were all level after 5 each, Worthing finally won the sudden death flicks. An enjoyable beer and cake was had after the game and we wish Worthing well in the next round.
