Following the success of the 2014 season which saw Tupton RUFC Cricket Section win both promotion in the Chesterfield Mid-Week Cricket League as well as lifting the Mid-Week Cup, (albeit subsequently disqualified from both competitions for fielding an ineligible player) the 2015 campaign has been eagerly anticipated.

As well providing the Players with a welcome return to action and officially marking a ‘new’ chapter in the Cricket Sections continued development, the event will also mark the 50th Birthday Celebrations of some familiar people.

Both Shaun & Sue Grocutt celebrate their half centuries on 8th & 14th May respectively, whilst Phil Alvey who has just passed this landmark, will also be partying having chalked up his 2 score years and 10.

The game which will be a limited overs style clash will be followed by a buffet. The bar will be open until late and as usual, Mr Bob Curry will be providing us with entertainment.
