Tupton RUFC SAFS Spring Cycle Ride - UPDATE!

Planning is at an early stage but, in true SAFS style we do like to take our time over this!

So far the plan is:

Using Route 1 into Central london and then Route 4 London to Bristol.

*depart Clubhouse 0700 Thursday 17th Maytravelling in the Venga Bus

*arrive Lee Vally 1100 and start cycling

*travel 63 miles to Slough for 1st stop over

*travel 64 miles to Pewsey Friday 18th May for 2nd stop over

*travel 52 miles to Bristol Saturday 19th May for 3rd stop over

The plan is to arrive in Bristol mid afternoon to allow plenty of time for some R&R!!

Cost will be held as low as posible so around £100-£120 should sort hotel and travel.

A meeting for all those interested in taking part will be held at the Clubhouse Sunday 28th January @ 1230 following Mini/Junior Training.

To book a place a £50 deposit is required - this will be around 45% of the total but gives us some certainty to the numbers required to book.

You will all by now be aware that Harry and Megs are getting spliced on the 19th May - they were in touch but we felt that the wedding won't affect the SAFS as we'll be long gone by then!! However, just today the windsor Council have ordered all "Street Dwellers" be removed from the Town so as to maintain a good impression so, just to make sure we don't get caught up in this programme, SAFS Riders will be required to wear No 1 cycling apparell and medals for the duration of our journey through the Royal Borough!!!
