Alastair Davies is the Eagle of the Year 2011!
Eagles RFC gave away a series of awards in their end-of-season-feast on 28.10.2011!
Eagles EOS-feast took place in Puolikko and the night were filled with good food, awards, sing-a-long-sauna and every Finns nightmare - karaoke. There were also other multi-talent-performances including breathtaking version of Tenacious D-classic "Tribute" performed by coach Davies and "The Beast" Salminen and á capella-trio Bald Nurses performing Finnish evergreen "Kalliolle Kukkulalle".
One of the highlights was obviously much anticipated award-ceremony, this years nominated players were:
Best rookie: Kalle "The Beast" Salminen
Best improver: Lauri "Mane" Maukonen
Best back: Galen Rangiawha
Best forward: Tatu Rantakokko
Chairman's Choice: Juho Vainio
Swan of the Year: Laura Kytönen
Eagle of the Year: Alastair Davies
