Twyford receives ECB Clubmark Accreditation in record time

Following the AGM in November 2014 our Welfare Officer, Jackie Wilkinson, undertook one of the most onerous tasks in club cricket and embarked on obtaining this important accreditation for the club.

Prior to undertaking this project we were advised that most clubs take 2-3 years to "get into shape", so to have achieved this in 8 months is testament to the huge amount of work that has been invested in reaching our goal.

Clubmark is not just a tick in the box - it is on-going work in progress to ensure we continue to deliver and enhance the highest standards of coaching, pastoral care and administration for the benefit of the whole club.

The accreditation is recognised by major supporters and funders of club cricket which will assist us greatly in our next big task of raising funds for the new pavilion.

So we enter the next major phase of the Club's development with our heads held high with pride at the achievements we have made as a small village cricket club.

Jackie works so hard to ensure our Junior section is in great shape and it is hard to imagine where she found the time to complete the application and set up all the processes for us to achieve Clubmark.

The club expresses its thanks and gratitude to Jackie for all her hard work and dedication.
