I am glad the headline caught your eye. Actually it should have read "We Wish For Massive New etc etc". The start of training has also brought with it the increasing wish list of equipment needed to increase the fitness and playing ability of our playing members, both at senior and mini and junior levels ( thankfully though, the request for free after match beer has not yet arrived from the mini section), although the growing list, includes all weather pitch, floodlights , a tractor for field maintenance, coaches with toilets on for our trips to Cumbria, new physio, free beer and reduced subs for the effort of training. I am happy to say that I agree with everything and will have everything in place by the beginning of August..... should my Euro Lottery jackpot arrive in time.
Failing that I would like to offer a radical solution, similar to the Greek bail out one. Why don't some of the playing membership offer their services to help our fund raising committee (currently standing at one, thank you Mr Geoff Jones). Every little bit helps, whether it's looking at lottery funding or coming up with and organising money raising events, every little bit does help. Please contact myself or Sue Broad with any ideas that you may have, apart from adding to the wish list.
Oh, and by the way, yearly subs are now being accepted.
