The Under 12 Blues continued their excellent start to the season witha 2-1 win away at Allendale. The win kept the Blues top of the Championship. It might not have been their best performance of the season but good teams win when they don't play their best & thats exactly what the Blues did. Well Done lads ....keep it up !!
The Under 21's thrashed title rivals Whitley Bay 5-0 at home. It was a great result for a slightly under strength team showing just what great depth the squad has this year. New lads John Riley & Joel Tate, who have moved up from last year's U18 Tynemouth team, have settled in well & are showing that not only are they comfortable at this level but they can push on & improve to a higher level as well.
The U14 Girls dramatic improvement continued this week when they left Blyth Town disappointed that they only got a 1-1 draw. The corresponding fixture last year finished 9-0 to Blyth but this year Tynemouth dominated play but couldn't get a second goal to put Blyth away & they finally had to settle for a draw.
The U14 Magpies won 1-0 at home in the Cup & the U13 Whites won 3-2 away to Corbridge. Unfortunately the U16 Blues lost 5-1 this week.
The Under 9's put in a fantastic performance this week playing some lovely football & left the pitch with big smiles.
Alarmingly these are the only results that are on the website. We really need managers to put the results of all our teams on the website !!!!
