Touch Rugby at Uckfield RFC on Wednesday Evenings..
After nearly 20 successful weeks of Touch Rugby at Uckfield rugby club, we are now suspending the sessions temporarily until further notice.
Now that the 2011/12 season is upon us, it is necessary to devote more time to midweek training sessions on the pitches, so we have taken the decision to suspend the Wednesday touch rugby sessions for the time being... until we can guarantee a regular slot.
I would like to thank everyone who had enjoyed (endured?!) these sessions, and have supported the club by visiting the bar for post play refreshments throughout the Summer. I know that a number of the more "mature" subscribers have found their fitness levels increasing as a result of our Wednesday evening runouts (who needs the gym??!..) so hopefully we can resumeas soon as possible.
I will be putting a list up on the noticeboards, for all those who are interested in continuing to play throughout the season...so please add your name and contact details, and I will keep you updated when the sessions restart.
