Town 2-2 Roffey
Town only manage a draw v Roffey at the vic
Town could only manage a 2-2 draw at a wind swept vic against a battling Roffey side! Town managed to find themselves 1-0 down after only 15 minutes through a defensive mistake and a good finish from Ruff.The home side were soon on level terms when the Roffey keeper miscontrolled which let in striker Miller to run the ball into an empty net for 1-1 and it stayed that way until half time.
The 2nd half started with town now kicking into the gale force wind and it was another goal keeper error that town took the lead from this time Liam Flint charging down the Roffey keepers kick which fell nicely to Joe Miller to tap home for his 2nd of the game.In the final few minutes the Roffey keeper made amends for this two previous errors by launching a massive wind assisted kick down field which sailed straight in the town goal to give Roffey a share of the points.
