Uddy scorer Michael Clarkson has been nominated to take charge of the Tom Reid electronic scoreboard for the two Saltires games next month at the Policies.
Clarkson, or "MJ" as he is more commonly known, was given the good news at Uddy last Saturday after the Scottish Cup tie against Fauldhouse. The popular Uddy scorer will be manning the controls for the CB40 games against Glamorgan on Sunday 13 May and then for the following Sunday against Hampshire.
An Uddy spokesperson said, "MJ was over the moon with his role in the two games. He has built a reputation as being one of the most thorough, knowledgeable and accurate scorers in Scottish Cricket and this is great news for both MJ and the club."
MJ will take control of the Tom Reid electronic scoreboard, but is also expected to keep his own score for the two fixtures, just incase the others scorers run out of ink.
