Clubturf return for essential maintenance.

The blokes from Clubturf rocked up in their Hummer yesterday morning at BCP for an inspection of the state of the art practice nets.

The nets were installed at the start of the cricket season, but because of the depth of the surface base, a little bit of settlement (lower levels) began to occur in some areas.

So, as quick as a flash, Clubturf sent their SOS men up to Uddy for essential repairs. The two men stripped back the artificial grass and underlay, before leveling out and compacting the underlying base material. The grass was then put back down and subjected to extensive testing under the watchful eye of bounce expert Paul Hoffmann.

The Clubturf gentlemen then made some minor adjustments to the cage before buggering off in the Hummer to Bedford near London, the site of their next project.
