Both sides put in good displays in very wet and windy conditions. Two late tries by Hull Wyke looked to be taking the tie to extra time, but a late rally and touch down from Sam Eaden put Rangers back in front.
The tie was clinched courtesy of another great covering tackle from Conner Carr in the last seconds. Other tries came from Matthew Dewhurst and George Hodgson. Izaac Rhodes with 2 goals.
It was a great experience to play a team from another league. Hopefully the Hull Wyke players and supporters enjoyed the trip and experience of a game at Underbank. Good luck to them for the future.
