The DU Rugby program received some outstanding news today that club captain Brandon Wright has been cleared for play for the spring season. Since his injury last summer, Brandon has worked incredibly hard to receive the news that he did today and DU Rugby is both proud and happy for Brandon.

"Brandon has had the bit between his teeth since his injury and has done everything and more asked of him in his rehabilitation program," said head coach Stuart Halsall, "From hearing his screaming this past fall as Amie Kern worked with him to seeing his confidence build over the last month, he has been a true leader for our team in demonstrating that leadership is more that being on the field."

Brandon was sorely missed during the fall season as he brings tremendous athletic ability combined with rugby knowledge that will benefit the DU Rugby program this spring. Brandon has been itching to get back on the field and has been integrating more and more into the DU Rugby practices with no side effects.

"I'm excited to be cleared and look forward to putting the jersey on with my team mates," said Captain Brandon Wright, "The support from DU Rugby has been fantastic and we'll continue to work with some guys who are still rebounding from injuries."
