Quick insights from the Women's USA Rugby Camp with Amie Kern, DU Rugby Medical Coordinator

Team USA has made it to Dublin and will attend the Rugby World Cup welcome reception tonight. Sean O'Leary who has worked with DU Rugby in the past is also in Ireland and connected with Amie on the trip.

The trip started in Washington DC with training and visiting the Irish Embassy where we were given well wishes by both Northern Ireland and Ireland representatives. Finished our last full day in the US with training at the National Mall.

Arrived to Dublin smoothly and made our way to the University of Limerick. Good dorm life and a number of training sessions and fitness testing. Spent our first full off day touring Cliffs of Moher and Islands of Arman. We spent a day at the island of Doolin (spelling may be off here) and had many interviews and photos with local press.

Arrived in Dublin Aug 5th, checked into our very nice dorms and went off to Malahide RFC where with did some live trainings against club players.

Hope all is well and we play Italy on Aug 9th and tonight we announce rosters.

So far the weather has held out fairly nice for us. We are very lucky. Amie
