"Saturday Night Lights" sees Pioneers return to the DU campus for a league match for the first time in two years

DU Rugby enters week three of the season coming off two big wins on the road at difficult places to play. This Saturday sees DU Rugby return to campus and begin to build new traditions for the program at their fabulous new home of Diane Wendt Sports Fields.

The Pioneers are building depth in their squad as this week will see the third different starting lineup of the season and new players introduced to the bench to stake a claim for upcoming games.

"We are excited about our squad this year", shared head coach Allan Wilson, "We have a nice blend of experience and youth and our players want to share the ball and are unselfish in their play. We have worked hard on our defense and that has shown by us only conceding 10 points in the first two games against two big physical sides."

We hope you can join us at 7pm for our first home game of the season and look forward to seeing you out on the field.
