As DU Rugby embarks on including 7's rugby into its competitive schedule, the Pioneers have created a win/win relationship with the Denver Elite 7's program to enhance both teams training opportunities.

Denver Elite will base their practice schedule at DU Rugby's outstanding Diane Wendt Sports Field Complex and will work with the DU Rugby program as they prepare to enter the Red Bull Invitational 7's event on August 25th, 2016.

Head Coach of DU Rugby 7's, Joe Moli shared the following, "This is a fantastic opportunity to work with high caliber 7's players and will allow our young men the opportunity to develop at a much quicker pace."

The DU Rugby program has been training with players who are based in Denver with additional players returning over the next two weeks. DU's academic term only begins on September 12th, 2016 so it is a testament to the student-athletes for committing to this tremendous opportunity.
