DU Rugby will unveil its 50th Year Jerseys today for their league opener with the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. The jerseys are kindly donated through partnerships with Tocabe Restaurant and alumni Matt Chandra and Ben Jacobs, and by Hooligan Rugby and parent Mike Sullivan.
The 50th year jerseys will be worn for the 2017-18 season as DU Rugby celebrates its 50th year of existence in 2018. The jerseys will be auctioned off at the end of the season at the 50th year banquet for current or former players to own a piece of history.
"Our players should be honored and privileged today," shared Club President and Captain Brandon Wright, "To pull the jersey on that captures all of the men that went before us and represented DU Rugby is awesome."
Images of the jersey will be made available after the match and once again, thank you to the support of Tocabe and Hooligan for making this a reality.
