The DU Rugby Alumni Board hosted the BBQ on Saturday, even though the University of Northern Colorado cancelled at the last minute. With the high school game preceding the event, our alumni still wanted to make sure that offerings were provided for the high school event.

"We are disappointed that UNC cancelled at the last minute," shared Chris Nebenzahl, DU Rugby Alumni President, "But really thankful that our alumni wanted to get together and do this. We did not raise as much as we had hoped to do, but the funds will go towards supporting the DU Rugby playoff run beginning in Dallas, TX."

"We have a really special group of alumni who care for the program and we cannot be more thankful to them for their assistance and help. The BBQ's are a great way to get alumni together and also support the team." said Stu Halsall.
