DU Rugby opens its 2015-16 season with a tough test against University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. CUCS is coming off a 36-5 victory in their opening league fixture last week beating Mesa State. The Pioneers have a new look about them at the start of this season as only five starters from last year remain and 10 players will be pulling on the Pioneer jersey to begin this season.

The players have worked exceptionally hard over the past two weeks to be ready for the opening fixture. The Pioneers will be without a few players through injury or other commitments. The game plan will be simple for the Pioneers and they are expecting a physical battle from the well coached CU program.
