DU Rugby will face #12 Colorado State University (D1A) this Saturday in a non-conference match-up as both teams continue to prepare for their respective spring seasons. The teams met in the first week of the fall and CSU was victorious 66-17 so DU Rugby will be looking to show improvement in preparation for their upcoming league games in the next two weeks.
DU Rugby will be missing some key players due to academic and injury issues but will name a strong lineup as they prepare for Regis University next week.
"We have been working with our team to improve our rugby IQ and decision making skills these past two weeks," shared Stu Halsall, "We had a good win over Division I New Mexico last week and we'll be looking to continue to build on that result. We are excited to see more action from some of our younger players as we will need our entire squad to contribute this spring."
Match kicks off at 5pm and should be a great match-up between two good programs.
