Hertfordhsire had been on a losing streak for a while now, but even that couldn't prepare them for the thrashing handed to them by the mighty 3's on Wednesday.

From the off the 3's dominated and used hitherto unseen skills across the pitch; whole pitch arials, LBZs, jogging...and the inspired "block formation" meant that at the end of the first half the score was already 2-0, both goals coming from God himself.

The second half was a much more relaxed affair, with the injured and indeed not playing Max Rickinson playing "hockey tennis" from one side of the pitch to the other against himself for 10 minutes, the back line were already at Woodys and the midfield and attacking force were forming a human pyramid.

At some point however a game of hockey seemed to brake out with Deepan scoring a spectuactular goal, Max had mis controled the pass to himself and as the ball flew off and collided with Deepan's stick, the ball rocketed through the top left hand corner of the opposition goal, making the final goal.

After this all of the Hertforshire players resigned from hockey forever, and began locking themselves in cars for months on end and then getting someone to bury the car under mounds of snow and depression.

The 3's and indeed the club it self has never seen such form and we look forward to the rest of the season playing for Great Britain at the Olympic games.








It was a walkover
