This year's AGM has been confirmed to take place Wednesday 11th April (the first Wednesday back after the break).
For those of you new to the club this year, the AGM is where the committee to take the rugby club forward for next season is elected. Any paid-up member of the club (who will be returning next season) can go for any position, regardless of year, team or experience. If you want to be considered for a position you simply need someone to propose you on the night and someone to second you, who will say a few words about why you are the man for the job. It then goes to a club vote.
Read carefully the descriptions of the committee positions which are attached. If you think you might be interested in running for a position I urge you to get in touch asap with Jamie or the current position holder to find out more. The AGM is one the most important events of the year, the committee is voted by YOU and so it is crucial that the whole club attends to cast their vote in the future management of the rugby club. There will, of course, be a great social afterwards but the real objective is to seriously consider the organisation of the club, so don't shy away for fear of wrong-handing a few pints of Pinky P.
Arrive at Madras from 7.00pm for a prompt 7.30pm start to nominations. It will take time to cover everything so don't be late.
